My dog Jewel was aggressive and attacked another dog that ended being fatal. I had been referred to other trainers but felt they were not truly knowledgeable about handling aggressive dogs. Steph was very professional educating me to effective handling of my girl and gained my trust at the first meeting. After Jewel being in his board and train program for 4 weeks she knows what is expected of her, is calm, obedient and can be around other dogs without any aggressive behavior. My grandson and I were well informed and trained on how to make sure Jewel continue her positive behavior. The change in Jewel has been so wonderful that my grandson and I are committed to change also, making our home calmer for  all of us and a safer home for Jewel. The free monthly group follow up is a great way to keep all on track. Can’t say enough about K9 Conditioner and so glad we made this choice.

Woody was very reactive and not behaving well before and he’s much better now. Now we just need to train us to be better trainers. Haha. He came back to us as the the same fun loving pup with a lot better manners. We would highly recommend the K9 conditioning program.

I asked a lot of questions, researched different training methods, and wanted to make sure I was making the right decision for my puppy. Looking back, I couldn't be happier with our choice. Our puppy spent three weeks with Steph, and the transformation has been incredible. He's still the same happy, goofy, loving dog we dropped off—just with so much more confidence, structure, and obedience. One of our biggest concerns was resource guarding, and that behavior has completely changed. He's comfortable with us around his food, and I can take his bowl or put my hand in it without any issues. His recall is also amazing, which has given us so much more confidence taking him on adventures. What impressed me just as much as the training was Steph's communication. We received daily updates, photos, and videos showing what he was learning and how he was progressing. It was reassuring to see him happy, engaged, and thriving throughout his stay. During our puppy's final week in the program, we also had three one-on-one training sessions with Steph. Those sessions were invaluable because he didn't just hand our puppy back to us—he taught us how to communicate with him, reinforced everything our puppy had learned, and made sure we felt confident continuing the training at home. If you're looking for a knowledgeable trainer who genuinely cares about your dog and is committed to setting both you and your dog up for long-term success, I highly recommend K9 Conditioning and Steph.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great place to take your dog for board and train.  Stephen was super knowledgeable, kind, and loving with our pup Luna.  She came back home with the same energy and spirit with a more refined behavior, and more willingness to train than she did with us. On leash she’s respectful and follows direction and off leash she stays placed and doesn’t run off through the neighborhood. This will forever be a process with her but k9 conditioning helped set the ground work for us to continue. Stephen sent daily videos, updates, photos, and lots of helpfull info throughout the training and we couldn’t be happier.

We had previously had our dog with another trainer for a month.After a week we could see the training was working well at three weeks our Bodie was a completely different dog.I truly can say Steph is the best dog handler/Trainer we have ever used and we have had thirty years of dogs in our family.

She came back to us confident, well-mannered and so responsive. He was very communicative throughout her process and training. We always felt a part it, eventhough she was with him full time. From my first meeting qoth Stephen I knew this was the place for Kodah. He is a very smart dog and I knew he needed some serious structure and direction to thrive. We discussed the challenges I was having with owner dominance and decided on a 4 week board and train. I was provided with multiple daily videos and updates. The board and train comes with some private sessions which he provided 2 at my office which is where we spend most of our day. Stephen went over in detail clear instructions for Kodah. We have one more in home training with Stephen. I can't recommend K9Conditioning enough, Kodah is a completely different dog and I am so excited for our future adventures! Our dog Koda was fortunate enough to do the 4 week boarding and training program with Stephan and K9 Conditioning. As a 160 pound Boreboel Mastiff, her size, weight and strength intimidated many people and trainers. Not Stephan. When we had our initial conversation and I let him know our concerns, he didn't even bat an eye and knew exactly how to help. I grew up on a farm and trained small and large animals as big as horses and cows. I had reached a point where my skill level and understanding of training fell short for teaching such a large breed dog. Stephan not only jumped right in but took control immediately. While she was away from our care being trained by the best company around, communication never stopped. Stephan texted us daily to let us know what they were working on. Not only that, but he also sent videos showing what he was doing and explained further why he was training something the way he was. It was such a well rounded experience that I would have paid extra for it but he was happy to help and explain. He not only trained my dog but also trained me on how to be a better dog owner. How to ask for exactly what I want and have clear communication with my commands. I have such confidence in mine and my dogs ability to be put into any situation and know we will not only survive but thrive. If you are looking for a dog trainer K9 Conditioning can't be matched. The absolute best around! We will definitely use them again if we are ever in need of training services. The fact that they also offer boarding will be a service we use time and time again. Highly, highly recommend!
