We became regular customers of Ben’s Barketplace after doing some research on dog nutrition. Wanting to provide the best for our dogs, we made the switch from highly processed kibble to premade raw food. With our busy schedule full of dog activities, we needed something convenient, species-appropriate, and protein-packed.
Back in 2021, we checked out a few stores in Auburn, but the selection was limited, and the prices didn’t fit our budget. After exploring more options in the Placer area, we found Ben’s Barketplace in Roseville—and what a relief! The staff took the time to walk us through different options, price points, and bulk-buying deals, making our transition to raw feeding smooth and stress-free. Over the years, we’ve rotated through brands like OC Raw, Tuckers, Pacific Northwest Naturals, and Bones & Co. Knowing we’re giving our dogs the best nutrition possible has been incredibly rewarding. We’re also big fans of their Adored Beast line of pre & probiotics for gut health support.
Since then, we’ve made the trip from Auburn to Roseville twice a month just to restock our dog food. Now, with their new location in Auburn, we couldn’t be more excited! While we’ll miss the amazing Roseville staff, it’s great to have our go-to pet nutrition store just nine minutes away.
